Ø FIRSTLY I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER AN APOLOGY FOR THE PROBLEMS WE HAVE HAD WITH THE LIGHTING.

Ø The apology comes from both The City Of  Wanneroo and  Wanneroo Touch Association .

Ø We have all found it terribly frustrating and I have been informed during a meeting with Council that a Parks representative will not only test the lights just prior to the competition but will also be available on the night of the competition to make sure that the problem does not occur again.

Ø We put a lot of effort into the  planning of the competition but rely on other parties to provide us with the playing infrastructure.

Ø Kingsway Reserve is in the middle of a $32 million Dollar upgrade so a few teething problems are inevitable but the end result will be the best multi sporting venue in Western Australia.

Wanneroo Touch has 36 teams and is looking for a Major Competition Sponsor. If you work for a company that maybe interested please let Leigh or myself know

Ø There has been a bit of agro towards the Refs . We do not condone or tolerate abuse or violence. If you want to play at a more intense level we suggest you play elsewhere. If you want to abuse the Ref  we suggest you try refereeing yourself  I’m sure we can accommodate you.

Ø We do not condone drinking of alcohol before games and it is illegal to bring alcohol to a licensed area. You can not bring your own drinks and consume them on the sideline as it is an offence under the Liquor Act to consume alcohol in a Public place

Ø Please support the canteen and bar after your game as it is essential to utilize these services to keep costs down

Ø Wanneroo Touch is affiliated with Wanneroo Rugby Union who field 26 team per season and compete in the Premier Division and we have just incorporated our first Netball Team.
