Open Division Finals
Only registered players registered to the team playing are allowed to play in the finals for that team.
A minimum of 7 and maximum of 12 players per team.
Unlimited substitutions allowed from the squad of 12 (max).
Two 7 minute halves
There must be a winner for all finals. If it is a tie at full time play will continue until the next points are scored which will determine the winner
Assistant referees will be assigned to each grand final match
PRESENTATION INFORMATION
Presentations will be held on the grass at the tournament admin table in front of the shed. All players and spectators are invited to stay for the presentations. All registered junior players will receive a participation medal.
U6-7 at 6:45PM
U8-10 at 7PM
U11-14 at 7:45PM
Presentation of the Shayne Nedselsky Shield for senior grand final winners will commence at 8:50PM.
Competition Rules
All players must wear the same colours to run on the field
All players must be registered on RugbyXplorer PRIOR to running on the field - no exceptions
Players to arrive to their allocated pitch 10 minutes prior to kick off
Game times and field allocations will be available on the website and on RugbyXplorer prior to each round start.
*Juniors U11-14 are permitted to play in the Juniors and Open division - a player does not pay double registration. Junior players that is registered for a junior team and wanting to join an open team too, please email touch@wanneroorugby.com.au with your name and the open team you would like to play for.
There is plenty to learn and love about Touch 7s.
Touch 7s is all about having fun with friends and family while playing a non-contact version of the game in good spirit. The game is quick and dynamic, played with seven a side over two seven-minute halves.
Junior Competition
U6 - U14 age group for boys & girls
Pool A: U6-7 | Pool B: U8-10 | Pool C: U11-14
Play Thursdays 5:30 - 6:30pm
Starts Thursday 12 October. Ends Thursday 14 December.
$105 per player. Max 10 players per team.
Open Competition
Open division 15+ years of age
Play Thursdays 6:30pm onwards
Compete for the perpetual Shayne Nedselsky Memorial Shield
$145 per player. Max 12 players per team.

3 Steps to Play
Step 1 - Assemble your team
Rally the troops to get your team together. You will need 7 a side, but make provision for reserves. You can register up to 10 players in each Juniors team and up to 12 players for an Open team. If you’re looking for help to fill your team, please contact us at touch@wanneroorugby.com.au
Don’t have a team? Fill out the Expression of Interest form for individual players and let us help to find you a team. Then skip to step 3 ‘Player Registration’ below.
Need help with team uniform? This year our merchandise partner is making customisable Touch7s Birdseye Mesh t-shirts available to teams. This is optional - you’re still welcome to play in any ‘uniform’ as long as everyone in your team look the same. Click here to start your team shirts design & order. Orders close Sunday 10 September!
Step 2 - Create your team
Before the players can register themselves and pay the registration fee, a team representative will need to register a team name in RugbyXplorer under the appropriate competition.
Step 3 - Register players
Once there is a team, players can now search for their team in RugbyXplorer and register as a player beneath that team. This ensures all players are covered by the club’s insurance.

You’re invited to express your interest to join a touch team.
We’ll endeavour to create an All Stars team or add you to an existing team. Please note All Stars teams will require a volunteer team manager and coach for the tournament from the parent group. Team details will be shared as soon as they are finalised.
